Mike brings the experience of 23 years of service in the United States Air Force, serving in both the Viet Nam war and Desert Storm. Susan Fauceglio, Residents Manager
Susan has worked with individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities from the ages of 3 to 70, and has been providing the services for the past 30 years. Her expertise at adaptive living has helped this organization grow over the past 24 years. She provides a strong mentoring program for all of our new resident advisors.

Karen Callison, Housing Chair
Karen is a retired Nurse with 39 years in the medical field. She is a native of Silver Spring, Maryland and has lived in Howard County for 37 years. She is married and has a son and daughter and a dog. Her daughter has special needs and lives in an Adaptive Living home to help her become as independent as she can with her disability. Read More.

Claude de Vastey Jones is an attorney at Carney, Kelehan, Bresler, Bennett & Scherr, LLP in Columbia, Maryland. Her practice focuses on cases involving litigation before federal and Maryland courts and administrative agencies, including business, commercial and personal injury matters. Robin Phillips, Board Member
Robin has worked in the healthcare industry for over 38 years. She has been involved with individuals with developmental disabilities since 1994. She enjoys advocating for her son and daughter who have developmental disabilities. Her hobbies include close involvement with Special Olympics, taking long walks and working in her flower beds.

Duke Silvea, Board Member
Duke has been involved with Special Olympics as a coach and volunteer for many years. He initiated and manages ALI’s vehicle donation program.
