Dear Conglom8 Committee members,
Sorry for the delay in communications, however, we’ve had our head down and working hard to maintain our momentum. We are still extremely dedicated to making Conglom8 the organization that finally creates a pathway for individuals to have a meaningful life that includes, employment, housing, social life and the support services needed to achieve independence. Now, with our new Coalition Partner, Adaptive Living Inc., the finish line is even closer. I want to bring everyone up to speed. Below are the most recent developments:
1. Formalized relationship between Conglom8 LLC and Adaptive living Inc.
A formal MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) has been signed to form our official partnership. This MOU outlines the detail of how Conglom8 and Adaptive Living work together to move the new coalition to the next level. This relationship now has broaden the goal of Conglom8 to include support services and independent living.
2. Completed Redesign and Prototyping of Tilecessories, LLC.
The redesign of the first business Tilecessories product line has been completed. The purpose for this was to permit the face of the tiles to be interchangeable. This allows Tilecessories to continue to sell optional tile face plates after the purchase of a tilecessories item(s). Our goal is to create a residual sales opportunity for tilecessories by continuing to offer new looks based on designs, or themes which allow the customer to change the look of their already purchased accessories.
3. Expansion of the Coalition.
Congom8 and new partner Adaptive Living Inc. have worked together to round out what we now term “The Conglom8 Coalition” this includes 4 pillars of focus.
- Meaningful employment (Conglom8 business development division)
- Continued education/Training (Connglom8 Academy)
- Living Independently (Adaptive Living Inc.)
- Social Life ( New division to be determined)
This will allow the Conglom8 Coalition to cover the critical components of life that include meaningful full time employment. While being educated and retrained for advancement. Living on their own and having a healthy social live with friends and activities that broaden their minds thus enriching their lives.
4. Recent Submission of a RFP (Request for Proposal) for a grant from Fanny Mae.
Conglom8 Coalition recently completed and submitted a RFP for a Fannie Mae grant called “The Innovative Challenge”. Fannie Mae was looking for organizations that are innovative in tackling housing and employment. The Conglom8 and Adaptive Living Inc., leadership teams felt that we stood a strong chance of winning a grant from this Innovative Challenge. We were made aware of this opportunity through another organization Called Bridges to Housing Stability, Inc. The time line we had to complete the RFP was 9 days, which was just short of impossible to get done. With the focused efforts of Bill Hall, Mike Callison and Myself we were able to complete and submit the RFP by the deadline. We won’t know the results of the Challenge until June 1st.
Thank you all for your continued patients and we will be contacting you very soon.
Best regards
Christopher Warren
